Members of the Rotary Club of Drysdale are preparing to hold their own Lift the Lid ‘Hat Day’ event on Thursday 10 October, World Mental Health Day.
We always enjoy getting out into our local community on Lift the Lid ‘Hat Day’, to support this worthwhile cause. This year we are excited to be doing something a bit different. We are partnering with Van Loons Nursery, where will be holding a lovely lunch in their cafe to help raise awareness about mental health in our community.
The cost of the event is $65 per head. Guests will be treated to two delicious courses with Scotchmans Hill wine to match. $25 from each ticket goes to Lift the Lid on Mental Illness.

Lift the Lid on Mental Illness is a national mental health fundraising and awareness initiative of Australian Rotary Health, that aims to raise funds for mental health research and ultimately improve the lives of all Australians. Almost one in five Australians will experience a mental illness every year, and nearly half of the population (45%) will experience a mental illness at some stage in their lives.
With your help, we can raise vital funds and make a difference to those living and coping with mental illness.
